BiographyofEdward Cheng

Dr Edward Cheng, a senior directorate officer from the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government (HKSARG) in the areas of public finance and investment, first joined AIIB as Finance Specialist at its inauguration stage from 2015-2018. He then returned to HKSARG to serve as Principal Assistant Secretary for the Treasury on government budgets and strategic investments. He was re-assigned to AIIB as Advisor to the Treasurer in early 2021 before taking up the post of Advisor to Chief Risk Officer in early 2023. With extensive experience in financial and investment management, Edward is a Chartered Accountant in England & Wales, Australia, and New Zealand. He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport. With first degrees in law and finance, he holds master degrees in systems engineering, corporate financial law from Hong Kong and a doctorate in public sector innovation from Australia. He is a Distinguished Research Fellow of the Central University of Finance and Economics in China.

专家简介

郑治洪博士曾任香港特别行政区金融投资领域高级官员，并于2015年加入亚洲基础设施投资银行。 随后他回到香港特别行政区担任财政局首席助理秘书长，参与特区高层预算和投资战略工作。 自2021年起，他先后被特区政府委派到亚投行担任司库高级顾问和风控部高级顾问。郑治洪博士持有英格兰和威尔士注册会计师，澳大利亚注册会计师和新西兰注册会计师资格，并在金融和投资领域具有极其丰富的管理经验。此外，他还是特许物流与运输协会会员，同时持有金融工程和公司金融法硕士学位以及公共事务创新博士学位。他被中央财经大学评为杰出研究员。
